The Wild Adventure Tours

The wild adventure tours take you to a number of wildlife destinations in South India. They are present at Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The main attractions include Bandipur and Nagarhole sanctuaries in Karnataka, and the Periyar Wildlife sanctuary in Kerala.

Day 1 - Bangalore
Your journey starts at Bangalore.

Day 2 - Bangalore - Bannarghatta - Bangalore
You go on an excursion to Bannerghatta National Park, which is close to Bangalore. The lion safari is the major attraction of the Bannarghatta National Park.

Day 3 - Bangalore - Mysore
Mysore provides you with a lot of tourist attractions. You can visit the Lalitha Mahal Palace. It is a grand palace and was built in the year 1912. It has been built as per an Indo-Saracenic style. Its Durbar Hall is magnificence personified and the rooms are decorated grandly. You can go to the Shri Ramachamarajendra Art Gallery,which is in the Jagmohan Palace. It has a lovely collection of Tanjore paintings. It also has portraits of the royal family that have been done by Raja Ravi Verma.
You can visit the St Philomena's Church, which is known for its Gothic style of architecture. Then there is the Chamundeshwari Temple, which is located in the Chamundi Hills. You can also visit the lovely Brindavan gardens. It is here that the musical fountains and lights give the garden the look of a fairyland.

Day 4 - Mysore - Ranganathittu - Mysore
You can go to the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary where you can see a number of rare birds like water birds. You can also hire boats to see them from up close.

Day 5 - Mysore - Nagarhole
At Nagarhole you can see a number of animals like birds, monkeys and squirrels while exploring the forest.

Day 6 - Nagarhole
There are plenty of animals to see at Nagarhole wildlife sanctuary. Many kinds of birds, squirrels, monkeys and mongoose can be seen. The tigers stay in the dense undergrowths, but their footprints are always clearly visible on the forest floor.

Day 7 - Nagarhole - Bandipur
You can see a number of animals in Bandipur wildlife sanctuary like monkeys and deers that go about their business without any trepidation whatsoever.

Day 8 - Bandipur
At Bandipur you can see animals like birds, deer, monkeys and squirrels. You could also catch a glimpse of animals like Gaur or Indian Bison, elephants and tigers, provided you are fortunate enough.

Day 9 - Bandipur - Ooty
At Ooty you can see lovely tourist attractions like the Botanical Garden, tea plantations that are located close by and Doddabetta Park.

Day 10 - Ooty
You can visit the village of Todas who stay at the Nilgiri Hills. They produce handwoven clothing in colors like red, black and white, which are great for gifting as well.

Day 11 - Ooty - Bangalore
You can go through with the tour or terminate it.

Day 11 - Ooty - Kochi
You can go to Kochi. Here you can enjoy Kathakali dance performances in the evening.

Day 12 - Kochi
There is no end to places you can visit at Kochi. Kochi is also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. Here you can see the Jewish Synagogue. It is decorated with blue and white Chinese Tiles and has been built in 1568. The St Francis Church is the original European Church in India. It was constructed in 1503. The other attractions include Dutch Palace at Matancherry as well as the spice markets. Kochi has a significant history and charming surroundings.

Day 13 - Kochi - Periyar
You go to Periyar from Kochi.

Day 14 - Periyar
You can go to the Periyar National Park on a boat and watch the elephants have fun bathing and playing.

Day 15 - Periyar - Kovalam
You can come to Kovalam and relax in the lovely beach. You can watch the sunset as well.

Day 16 - Kovalam
At Kovalam a number of things could be done like swimming, ayurvedic massages and sunbathing. Besides there are watersports options like surfing, wind surfing and sailing. Catamaran rides and parasailing could be tried as well.

Day 17 - Kovalam - Cape Comorin - Kovalam
A day long trip could be taken to Cape Comorin.

Day 18 - Kovalam - Trivandrum - Delhi / Bombay
Your journey comes to an end at Trivandrum. From here you can go to Delhi and Bombay.
